About the role

Temporal Quality is looking to add a Packaging Section Manager to its team for an important meat processing plant located near Hostalric. If you have experience in the meat sector and possess leadership and organizational skills, this is your opportunity!

You will be responsible for the organization, coordination, and supervision of the vacuum packaging section. Your mission will be to ensure compliance with production, quality, and food safety objectives, as well as the effective management of your team. What you'll do

  • Efficiently organize and coordinate the daily work of the packaging section.
  • Supervise and lead a team of approximately 20 people, distributed across 4 production lines.
  • Plan and meticulously control the preparation and vacuum packaging of the various pork products.
  • Ensure strict compliance with the highest standards of quality, hygiene, and food safety (HACCP, IFS, BRC, etc.).
  • Ensure rigorous compliance with established production deadlines and optimize the performance of the packaging lines.
  • Proactively manage any issues that arise in the production process and propose continuous improvements to processes.
  • Work closely with other departments (production, quality, logistics) to ensure smooth and coordinated operations.
  • Control and manage packaging materials, ensuring their availability and proper use.
