Baggage handler at the Airport

Do you have experience as a Handling operator at Barcelona Airport? Are you interested in working part-time and combining it with other activities? At Randstad, we have a proposal for you.

As part of the operations department, your functions will be the following:

• Manual handling of cargo.
• Securing of air cargo.
• Auxiliary tasks of the position.
• Driving vehicles on the runway.

Driver's license B required (Spanish or homologated in Spain)

· Ability to perform physically demanding work.

· During the interview, we will consider the following conditions:

o Valid ID or NIE that authorizes full-time work

o High level of Spanish

o We will mention that if you have a criminal record, you will not be hired, even if you pass the course.

o Have a criminal record certificate translated into Spanish and apostilled from the country where you have resided for more than 5 months outside of Spain in the last 5 years (you do not need to give it to us, we just mention it because AENA will probably request it and if you do not have it, you will not be hired).

o Availability to take the online and in-person course. VERY IMPORTANT.

Online training dates: July 17 to July 23

In-person training dates: July 20 to July 23

Start of work in operations on July 27

Contract: Fixed-discontinuous, depending on the needs of the operation, up to a maximum of 3 months. Subsequently, transfer to the company

Base contract: 20 hours of base contract, with extensions depending on the needs of the operation, which can reach approximately 20-25 hours in the low season and up to 30-35 hours in the high season.

Salary: Collective agreement. 19,295.76 annual/gross for 40 hours. 14 payments. Variables apart (gross): overtime (13.72), night work (1.76), split shift (20.90) and Sunday and holidays (3.24).

Schedule: morning, afternoon, night, and split shifts.

Carné B obligatorio (Español o homologado en España)

· Capacidad para realizar trabajos de esfuerzo físico.

· En entrevista tendremos en cuenta las siguientes condiciones:

o DNI o NIE en regla, que autorice a trabajar a jornada completa

o Nivel de castellano alto

o Comentaremos que si tienen Antecedentes Penales no se incorporarán, aunque aprueben curso.

o Disponer de certificado de Antecedentes Penales traducido en español y apostillado del país en el que haya residido más de 5 meses fuera de España en los últimos 5 años (no tiene que entregárnoslo a nosotros, solo lo comentaremos porque AENA probablemente se lo solicite y si no tiene no se incorporará).

o Disponibilidad para hacer el curso online y presencial. MUY IMPORTANTE.

Fechas formación online: 17 de Julio al 23 de Julio

Fechas formación presencial: 20 al 23 de Julio

Inicio trabajo en operativa el 27 de Julio

Contrato: Fijo Discontinuo, en función de las necesidades de la operativa, hasta un máximo de 3 meses. Posteriormente pase a empresa

Contrato base: 20 horas de contrato base, con ampliaciones en función de la necesidad de la operativa pudiendo llegar hasta las 20-25h aprox. en temporada baja y hasta 30-35h en temporada alta.

Salario: Convenio. 19.295,76 anual/bruto por 40h. 14 pagas. Variables aparte (bruto): horas extras (13,72), nocturnidad (1,76), jornada partida (20,90) y domingo y festivos (3,24).

Horario: mañana, tarde, noche y turnos partidos.
