Logistics Trainee

What You Can Expect:

Do you want to start your career in transportation and logistics by supporting a specialist? At Rhenus, we are looking for a Trainee who will provide support in areas such as International, Automotive, and/or Domestic Traffic.

The Trainee will provide direct support to the transportation and logistics specialist, helping to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods. Their work will be focused on improving operational efficiency and reducing costs, collaborating on tasks involving analysis, monitoring, and coordination.

They will be able to provide support in different areas of the department, including International Transportation, Automotive, and Domestic Traffic (Mainland, Islands, and TRW), depending on operational needs.

1. Provide support in managing transport routes.

2. Assist in reviewing scheduling and the assignment of vehicles and drivers.

3. Collaborate in monitoring transport KPIs.

4. Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the TMS.

5. Provide support in managing transport suppliers.

6. Collaborate in maintaining relationships with carriers and logistics providers.

7. Assist in verifying compliance with safety regulations and policies.

8. Assist in maintaining records and logistics documentation.

9. Provide support in managing and resolving transport incidents.

- It is recommended to have some prior contact with or be currently studying a degree related to the transportation, logistics, or domestic/international trade sector.

- An interest in learning about transport management processes and systems.

- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively.

- A proactive attitude and a problem-solving orientation.

¿Quieres iniciar tu carrera en transporte y logística dando soporte a un especialista? En Rhenus buscamos un/a Trainee, que apoyará en áreas como Internacional, Automoción y/o Tráfico Nacional.

El/la Trainee dará soporte directo al especialista del transporte y la logística, contribuyendo a garantizar la entrega eficiente y puntual de mercancías. Su labora estará orientada a apoyar la mejora de la eficiencia operativa y la reducción de costes, colaborando en tareas de análisis, seguimiento y coordinación.

Podrá ofrecer apoyo en distintas áreas del departamento, incluyendo Transporte Internacional, Automoción y/ Tráfico Nacional (Península, Islas y TRW), según las necesidades operativas.

1. Dar soporte en la gestión de rutas de transporte.

2. Apoyar en la revisión de la programación y asignación de vehículos y conductores.

3. Colaborar en el seguimiento de indicadores de transporte.

4. Asistir en la implementación y mantenimiento del TMS.

5. Dar apoyo en la gestión de proveedores de transporte.

6. Colaborar en el mantenimiento de relaciones con transportistas y proveedores logísticos.

7. Apoyar en la verificación del cumplimiento de regulaciones y políticas de seguridad.

8. Asistir en el mantenimiento de registros y documentación logística.

9. Dar soporte en la gestión y resolución de incidencias del transporte.

- Se recomienda haber tenido algún contacto o estar cursando estudios relacionados con el sector del transporte, logística o comercio nacional/internacional.

- Tener interés por aprender sobre procesos y sistemas de gestión de transporte.

- Capacidad de organización, atención al detalle y trabajo colaborativo.

- Actitud proactiva y orientación a la respolución de problemas.
