What You Can Expect:

Do you want to start your career in transportation and logistics by supporting a specialist? At Rhenus, we are looking for a Trainee who will provide support in areas such as International, Automotive, and/or Domestic Traffic.

The Trainee will provide direct support to the transportation and logistics specialist, helping to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods. Their work will be focused on improving operational efficiency and reducing costs, collaborating on tasks involving analysis, monitoring, and coordination.

They will be able to provide support in different areas of the department, including International Transportation, Automotive, and Domestic Traffic (Mainland, Islands, and TRW), depending on operational needs.

What you'll do

1. Provide support in managing transport routes.

2. Assist in reviewing scheduling and the assignment of vehicles and drivers.

3. Collaborate in monitoring transport KPIs.

4. Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the TMS.

5. Provide support in managing transport suppliers.

6. Collaborate in maintaining relationships with carriers and logistics providers.

7. Assist in verifying compliance with safety regulations and policies.

8. Assist in maintaining records and logistics documentation.

9. Provide support in managing and resolving transport incidents.

Requirements

- It is recommended to have some prior contact with or be currently studying a degree related to the transportation, logistics, or domestic/international trade sector.

- An interest in learning about transport management processes and systems.

- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively.

- A proactive attitude and a problem-solving orientation.
