About the role

Who are we?

We are a young company, with extensive prior experience and in a growth phase.

At Quark, we design infrastructure to digitally connect the world in a safe, efficient, and sustainable way; developing engineering, PM/CM, and consulting services.

Today we design the data centers of the future.

We are currently growing large-scale Data Center projects and are looking for an On-site Planner (Planning Engineer) who wants to take part in project management where planning is key to success.

You will join the Project Management team, with a cross-functional and strategic role: ensuring the project progresses as planned... and anticipating when it does not.

You will work directly on site (Vicálvaro), in constant coordination with design teams, contractors, and the client.

What you'll do

  • Your role will be to provide project visibility and help make timely decisions.

You will work closely with the Project Manager and coordinate with all disciplines:

    • You will develop and maintain the project schedule (baseline schedule).

    • You will define sequences, milestones, and analyze the critical path.

    • You will track actual on-site progress and update the schedule.

    • You will identify deviations and analyze schedule risks.

    • You will propose optimization alternatives (re-planning, overlaps, fast-track...).

    • You will coordinate with contractors, the design team, and the client.

    • You will prepare progress reports and reporting for decision-making.

    • You will assess the impact of technical or scope changes on the schedule.

It is a highly analytical role, but with direct impact on the project.

What you'll get

  • Join a multidisciplinary, highly qualified team participating in technologically innovative projects at an international level.

  • Continue your professional development with us and access a wide range of training (technical training, skills, languages...).

  • Take care of yourself with our physical and emotional wellness program: sports, workshops, medical service, physiotherapy, etc.

  • Optimize your salary with our flexible compensation plan (meal card, private health insurance, childcare vouchers...) and have our life and accident insurance.

  • Discount portal for you and a specific onboarding plan for our international employees.

What the environment is like

You will be part of a highly specialized Data Center team within QUARK (Sener), taking part in demanding, large-scale projects.

You will have direct contact with the reality of the site and with all project stakeholders: from design through to commissioning.

Additionally, you will have:

  • High-level technical environment

  • Accelerated learning on complex projects

  • Support and internal mentoring.

  • Progressive growth toward roles with greater technical autonomy

What do you need to fit in?

  • We are looking for profiles with a project mindset, analytical skills, and a global vision:

    • Engineering, Architecture, or similar.

    • 3 to 5 years of experience in construction or infrastructure project planning.

    • Experience in on-site environments and coordination with contractors.

    • Knowledge of planning (WBS, critical path, milestones).

    • Advanced English level.

    • Analytical, organized profile with a deadline-driven mindset.

    💡 Highly valued:

    • Experience in Data Centers or critical infrastructure.

    • Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, or Power BI.

    • Knowledge of advanced planning analysis (risks/claims).

What are our benefits?

These are some of the benefits you will enjoy:

The professional growth of technical profiles does not mean leaving engineering behind: we foster career paths where deep knowledge and technical expertise remain the core focus of development.

Additional information

  • We promote equal opportunities, diversity and inclusion for all people and we are certified as a Family-Responsible Entity (efr). Furthermore, through the Sener Foundation we collaborate in activities that foster the pursuit of knowledge and contribute to the socially responsible development of engineering.

We offer you the chance to be part of a rapidly expanding environment, with access to strategic projects and long-term career growth.
