About the role

Would you like to develop your career in the field of industrial inspection and work directly at the facilities of a major SGS industrial client?

We are looking for a person with technical training, a proactive attitude, and a vocation for the industrial sector to join us as a Resident Inspector, carrying out follow-up on the manufacturing and inspection of equipment subject to ADR regulations and the Pressure Equipment Directive.

What you'll do

   - Manufacturing follow-up at the plant.

   - Inspection and verification of ADR tankers for fuels and gases.

   - Supervision of testing and verification of pressure equipment.

   - Document control associated with inspections and certifications.

   - Direct liaison with the client and manufacturing teams.

   - Support in CE marking processes in accordance with Directive 2014/68/EU.

Requirements

- Higher Level Training Cycle (CFGS) in Industrial Mechanics, Mechanical Manufacturing, or similar.

- Industrial Technical Engineering or Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering.

- Interest in industrial inspection and technical regulations.

- Prior experience is not required, but we will value if you have: 

  • Knowledge of ADR regulations.
  • Knowledge of pressure equipment.
  • Experience in industrial inspection.
  • Knowledge of ASME VIII, AD 2000-Merkblatt, or EN 13445 codes.

We are looking for a proactive person with a quick learning ability, an enterprising spirit, and initiative. Strong communication skills, client orientation, organizational ability, and autonomy are essential. 

Residence in the Tàrrega or Lleida area, or nearby towns, will be especially valued.
