What you'll do

You will join the Electrical Installations Department of our center located in Bilbao.
Your mission will be to develop, integrate, and justify the design and sizing of products, systems, and electrical components for main power, proposing improvements, managing technical documentation, and ensuring compliance with internal guidelines, applicable regulations, and the requirements of each project.

To achieve this, you will carry out functions such as:

  • Develop the electrical design of systems, including the preparation of electrical schematics and the definition of wired control functions and interfaces between equipment.
  • Analyze datasheets and supplier technical documentation, ensuring the correct electrical integration of the various components into the system.
  • Perform sizing and electrical calculations, selecting the most suitable materials based on technical, regulatory, and cost criteria.
  • Participate in the improvement and evolution of existing electrical systems, proposing optimized solutions in terms of functionality, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Prepare and maintain the technical design documentation, ensuring the traceability of information within internal systems and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in the railway sector or in medium/high voltage installations.
  • Knowledge of reading and developing electrical schematics, wiring lists, and cable lists.
  • Knowledge of High and Low Voltage switchgear, especially in rolling stock applications.
  • Advanced English level.
  • Availability to travel nationally and internationally.
