MISSION

Your mission will be to lead, coordinate, and execute hyperautomation and artificial intelligence projects within Telefónica, ensuring the delivery of efficient, scalable solutions aligned with the needs of the business areas, contributing to the achievement of operational efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction goals, as well as simplification and innovation at Telefónica. The role involves managing cross-functional and multi-area initiatives, driving the adoption of AI Agents, Power Platform, and RPA technologies, as well as efficiency analysis and associated financial management.

• Functionally lead hyperautomation and AI projects, from defining the functional scope to deployment in production, ensuring timelines, quality, methodology compliance, and costs, with the aim of guaranteeing their contribution to achieving Telefónica's operational efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction goals defined by the business.
• You will need to coordinate multidisciplinary and multi-area teams, managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, facilitating communication and decision-making.

You will be responsible for the evaluation, planning, and management of automation projects, coordinating communication with Business Units, integrators and/or technology solution providers, and those responsible for the company's systems, architecture, and security, making the necessary decisions to ensure project success.

• You will have the ability to design, drive, and oversee solutions based on:

- Generative artificial intelligence, AI agents, and cognitive services

- Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI)

- RPA (specific experience with BluePrism will be valued)

You must analyze and design processes using any of these technologies, ensuring their economic and technical viability, and ensuring alignment with the architecture, security policies, best practices, and defined methodology.

• You must carry out project tracking and reporting to business areas and the management committee, both in planning and in monitoring the efficiencies generated, through operational, productivity, and/or economic impact KPIs.

You will ensure budget control and financial management of the project: monitoring, forecasts, variance control, and investment justification.

• Identify continuous improvement opportunities for Telefónica, both to implement them on existing capabilities and in the application of new technologies (or the evolution of existing ones). You will maintain a continuous training level, keeping up with technological trends in automation and artificial intelligence, constantly growing in technical capabilities with ongoing innovation in the field of automation and AI.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS THAT ADD VALUE

Solid knowledge of hyperautomation and AI technologies:

• Agentic AI models and generative AI ecosystems, including language models, natural language processing (NLP), voice services (Speech-to-Text and Text-to-Speech), recommendation and decision-making systems, and other cognitive services available on platforms such as Azure, Google Cloud, or AWS.
• Microsoft Power Platform.
• RPA:  BluePrism is valued (deep knowledge of its architecture, lifecycle, orchestration, and best practices).
• Technical understanding of the network architecture of a telecommunications operator, including:
• Fixed network (FTTH, transport, IP, core).
• Mobile network (RAN, 4G/5G Core, services, and signaling).
• Proficiency with project management tools: JIRA, MS Project, Planner, Confluence, or others.
• Ability to work with cloud architectures and API services, integrations, security, and regulatory compliance.

EXPERIENCE

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in automation and AI project management is essential.

• Demonstrated experience working in telecommunications companies or on projects related to their infrastructure will be valued.

• Telecommunications, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical degrees.
• Additional training in project management (PMP, Scrum, ITIL...)
• Accredited experience in technical training, certifications, training programs, or internal academies related to Artificial Intelligence technologies will be especially valued.
• Certifications in Power Platform or BluePrism will be valued.

MISION

Tu misión será liderar, coordinar y ejecutar proyectos de hiperautomatización e inteligencia artificial dentro de Telefónica, garantizando la entrega de soluciones eficientes, escalables y alineadas con las necesidades de las áreas de negocio, que contribuyan a conseguir los objetivos de mejora de la eficiencia operativa, calidad y satisfacción del cliente, así como simplificación e innovación en Telefónica. El rol implica gestionar iniciativas transversales y multiárea, impulsando la adopción de tecnologías AI Agents, Power Platform y RPA, así como el análisis de eficiencias y la gestión económico-financiera asociada.

• Liderar funcionalmente proyectos de hiperautomatización e IA, desde la definición de alcance funcional hasta la puesta en producción, asegurando tiempos, calidad, cumplimiento de metodología y costes, con el objetivo de garantizar que contribuyan a conseguir los objetivos de mejora de la eficiencia operativa, calidad y satisfacción del cliente de Telefónica definidos por negocio.
• Deberá coordinar equipos multidisciplinares y multiárea, gestionando la relación con stakeholders internos y externos, facilitando la comunicación y la toma de decisiones.

Será responsable de la evaluación, planificación y gestión de los proyectos de automatización, coordinando la interlocución con las Unidades de Negocio, los integradores y/o proveedores de la solución tecnológica y los responsables de sistemas, arquitectura y seguridad de la compañía, tomando las decisiones necesarias para asegurar el éxito del proyecto.

• Tendrá capacidad de diseñar, impulsar y supervisar soluciones basadas en:

- Inteligencia Artificial generativa, agentes IA y servicios cognitivos

- Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI)

- RPA (se valorará específicamente experiencia en BluePrism)

Deberá analizar y diseñar procesos sobre cualquiera de estas tecnologías, garantizando su viabilidad económica y técnica, asegurando la alineación con la arquitectura, políticas de seguridad, buenas prácticas y metodología definida.

• Deberá realizar el seguimiento y reporte del proyecto a las áreas de negocio y comité de dirección, tanto en la planificación como en el seguimiento de las eficiencias generadas, mediante KPIs operativos, de productividad y/o de impacto económico.

Asegurará el control presupuestario y gestión económica del proyecto: seguimiento, forecasts, control de desviaciones y justificación de inversiones.

• Identificar oportunidades de mejora continua para Telefónica, tanto para implementarlas sobre las capacidades existentes, como en la aplicación de nuevas tecnologías (o evolución de las existentes). Mantendrá un nivel de formación continua, con el seguimiento de tendencias tecnológicas en automatización e inteligencia artificial, creciendo de manera permanente en capacidades técnicas en constante innovación en esté ámbito de automatización e IA.

CONOCIMIENTOS Y HABILIDADES QUE SUMAN

Conocimientos sólidos en tecnologías de hiperautomatización e IA:

• Modelos de IA agéntica y ecosistemas de IA generativa, incluyendo modelos de lenguaje, procesamiento de lenguaje natural (NLP), servicios de voz (Speech-to-Text y Text-to-Speech), sistemas de recomendación a toma de decisión y otros servicios cognitivos disponibles en plataformas como Azure, Google Cloud o AWS.
• Microsoft Power Platform.
• RPA:  se valora BluePrism (alto conocimiento de su arquitectura, ciclo de vida, orquestación y buenas prácticas).
• Comprensión técnica de la arquitectura de red de un operador de telecomunicaciones, incluyendo:
• Red fija (FTTH, transporte, IP, core).
• Red móvil (RAN, 4G/5G Core, servicios y señalización).
• Manejo de herramientas de gestión de proyectos: JIRA, MS Project, Planner, Confluence u otras.
• Capacidad para trabajar con arquitecturas cloud y servicios API, integraciones, seguridad y cumplimiento normativo.

EXPERIENCIA

• Imprescindible experiencia de al menos 5 años en gestión de proyectos de automatización e IA.

• Se valorará experiencia demostrada trabajando en empresas de telecomunicaciones o en proyectos relacionados con su infraestructura.

• Telecomunicaciones, Matemáticas, Informática, Ingeniería o titulaciones técnicas afines.
• Formación complementaria en gestión de proyectos (PMP, Scrum, ITIL…)
• Se valorará especialmente experiencia acreditada en capacitaciones técnicas, certificaciones, programas formativos o academias internas relacionadas con tecnologías de Inteligencia Artificial.
• Se valorarán certificaciones en Power Platform B133o BluePrism.
