About the role

In Telefónica Tech's Data Sales Consulting unit, we handle the consultative pre-sales of Artificial Intelligence and Data projects and solutions.

The scope of the role focuses on Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Advanced Analytics, data exploitation and commercialization, and the development of data governance adoption programs for companies. We help clients advance their transformation into data-driven organizations through solutions or projects in the data and artificial intelligence space.

The role will involve understanding client needs and developing technical approaches to meet those needs. These approaches are accompanied by a project plan and an execution budget.

Within the area, we also lead the defense of these projects before the client, being direct contributors to the success of the sale.

The unit therefore has commercial sales targets within our business scope.

The client profile will consist of stakeholders with experience in the disciplines described above, from both a technical and organizational standpoint within their companies. Frequently, these stakeholders have an executive profile with decision-making authority in their organizations.

One of the main areas of commercial activity for the candidate will be Public Administrations. Specifically, within this segment, client and stakeholder needs range from initial advisory, conceptualization of a solution ecosystem tailored to the client's case, and response to public procurement processes.

In the private sector, companies will frequently be large corporations with revenues exceeding €1,000M. Another group will be SMEs with high revenue volumes and/or heavy reliance on data-driven solutions.

What you'll do

Your mission will be to help clients with their data-driven transformation. In your day-to-day, you will mainly:

You will be part of a team whose mission is the consultative sale of Big Data, Advanced Analytics, AI, and data solutions in the segments mentioned above.

Collaborate in responding to complex procurement processes in the public and private sectors.

Design, organize, and build consortia to meet the specific needs of public and private clients.

Prepare technical-commercial offers for Big Data, Advanced Analytics, AI, and data solutions.

Build the business case and pricing strategy.

Develop the project plan.

Prepare the technical and economic materials.

Defend proposals before clients.

Support the management of complex procurement processes with high ticket values (>€2M) and multiple technological solutions.

Know different market solutions in the Big Data, Advanced Analytics, AI, and data space.

Work goal-oriented with defined targets in short timeframes.

Participate in task force teams focused on delivering proposals to clients.

Deal with complex clients and be able to build a trustworthy relationship around the proposed solutions.

Exercise judgment when building consortia with other companies on strategic, technical, and economic levels.

Education & certifications

Education

Degree in Engineering in Mathematics, Physics, Telecommunications, Industrial Engineering, or Computer Science.

Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience for the role (slightly flexible depending on the candidate's merits).
