WHAT DO WE DO IN THE TEAM?

In the PKI unit within the Architecture and Technical Consulting area of Telefónica Tech, we are responsible for helping our clients define and improve their security infrastructures. We provide security architecture support, as well as technical consulting and audits for the various IT security elements our clients may have.

WHAT WILL YOUR DAY-TO-DAY BE LIKE?

You will work in a department with other security architects and consultants, where you can face a multitude of tasks, such as designing Certificate and PKI architectures, always oriented towards security, and designing and proposing solutions within our clients' IT infrastructure.

Experience

    • Demonstrable experience of at least 3 years in Cybersecurity roles equivalent to the one specified

Education

    • Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or equivalent qualification.

Technical Knowledge

    • Administration and deployment of PKI (Microsoft CA, EJBCA, Nexus..,
    • Signing and validation services (OCSP, CRL, TSA).
    • Cryptographic protocols: TLS, S/MIME, IPSec, SSH.
    • Ability for cryptographic analysis and resolution of complex problems.
    • Constant updating on advances in cybersecurity and quantum computing.
    • Symmetric, asymmetric, and hash cryptography.
    • ETSI EN 319 standards (signing and sealing).
    • X.509 certificate management.
    • NIST PQC process and candidate algorithms
    • Experience with PQC libraries (liboqs, PQClean).
    • Integration of hybrid classical + post-quantum solutions.
    • HSMs and cryptographic security modules (FIPS 140-2/3, Common Criteria)

To perform the role, the skills that would fit the team and the project would be:

    • Good project manager
    • Ability to resolve complex problems
    • Meticulousness for fine-tuning configurations
    • Good communication to interact with multiple technical teams

    • Required: fluent Spanish and English.
