WHAT WILL YOUR DAY-TO-DAY BE LIKE?

As a Public Cloud Technician (Kubernetes Administrator) at Telefonica Tech Spain, your mission will be to support the technical group in resolving incidents and complex provisions.

Your main responsibilities would be:

  • Implement (via IaC), administer, and monitor Kubernetes environments across different Public Clouds, in both IaaS and KaaS modalities. AKS, EKS, GKE, OKE...
  • Administration of Openshift-based environments. (On prem, ROSA, ARO...)
  • Monitoring and Logging of Kubernetes environments using native Public Cloud tools.
  • Monitoring and logging of Kubernetes environments (IaaS, OnPrem) with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Loki...
  • Migration of Kubernetes environments between different Public Clouds, as well as from On-prem environments to Public Clouds.
  • Execution and client support for deployments on Kubernetes environments, using Kubectl, Helm, and CI/CD tools (Azure Devops, ArgoCD, Cloud Build, Jenkins...).
  • Implementation of cloud and multicloud infrastructures.
  • Compliance with service levels contracted by the client.
  • Process automation.
  • Proposal of service improvements.
  • Use of DevOps Methodology.
  • Change management.
  • Incident management.

Experience

Education

Required:

  • Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Telecommunications or similar.

Desirable:

  • Official certifications in Hyperscaler environments: AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud will be valued.
  • Certifications in Kubernetes: CKA, CKAD, Openshift...
  • Knowledge of Kafka will be valued.
  • Official certifications in Project Management with agile methodologies, PMP, ITIL will be valued.

Technical Knowledge
