About the role

Hello!

I'm Leyre, the recruiter for this position. I love writing and reading horror stories, but what I enjoy most is a good family meal with the people I love most. If you like seventies and eighties music as much as I do, we'll definitely connect!

Maybe we're the tenth job posting you've read today, on the sofa with Netflix in the background, or right in the middle of a change... and they all seem the same to you.

Let me be clear with you: at Zurich we're not perfect, but we're pretty awesome! And if you want to know why, keep reading.

First of all, THANK YOU for being interested in our company. We know that searching for new opportunities can be a challenge, but... don't worry, everything comes in time!

Let's get straight to the point! I'll try to sum up our DNA in 2 points:

  • We love volunteering, but we prefer to be activists for change.  How? By focusing on young people at risk of social exclusion or by fighting climate change through actions like reforesting forests in Madrid and Doñana National Park. In 2024, we did more than 20,000 hours of activism.
  • At Zurich, we say it loud and clear: we're proud of our colors and we believe a diverse team makes a difference. Here we don't talk about disability; we talk about ability.  Being able to be yourself is our priority, with no closets standing between us and no glass ceilings. 50% of our management positions are held by women (including the Executive Committee). Did you know we produce our own podcasts about sexual identity? We're building a company where everyone is welcome.

And you might be asking: Leyre, what will my day-to-day be like wearing the blue shirt? I love that you ask this question (I asked it myself back in the day):

What you'll do

  • Support in tracking and analyzing sales across different initiatives and business lines.
  • Preparing periodic reports on initiatives to support decision-making.
  • Identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborating on the preparation of presentations and reports for management.
  • Support in managing and updating commercial databases.
  • Participating in cross-departmental projects.

What we're looking for

At this point, you might be wondering, how do I know if I fit in?

Don't worry, I'm not going to ask you to save the planet or meet 100% of the requirements.

  • Student in the final years of Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or a similar field.
  • Interest in data analysis and the commercial environment.
  • Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools (Power BI, Tableau...).
  • Analytical skills, attention to detail and results orientation.
  • Proactivity, willingness to learn, and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work in a team and good communication skills.

How you'll work

Interested? We can't wait to meet you, but first you need to know...

  • You must be able to sign a collaboration agreement with the University and/or Business School for a minimum of 6 months.
  • We never stop growing, and if this works out, we'd love to have you on board!
  • Part-time schedule (5 hours a day, mornings, Monday to Friday).
  • The position will be based at our offices in Barcelona.
  • This is a paid internship of €800.
  • Plus, you'll have access to training, and much more!

Hiring process

Right now, you're either feeling the excitement of when a pair of pants fits you perfectly, or you're thinking: "this isn't for me" (if it's not for you, no problem, we'll cross paths again in the future). You can play matchmaker by sharing my contact with anyone you think might be a good fit.

If you've made it this far, THANK YOU for reading me. What did you think? Are we awesome or not?  If you've felt butterflies in your stomach and think we're a good match, send up smoke signals—or your CV, if smoke isn't your thing.

And to wrap up, do you want to know what other people who are part of Zurich think? I'd say we're still at the top of Top Employers Spain as our calling card, but I encourage you to take a look at our Glassdoor profile so they can tell you themselves. No tricks, no gimmicks.

I hope to meet you very soon.
