Description

Hello!

I'm Mariana, the recruiter for this position. Traveling is one of my greatest joys, and what makes it even more special is being able to experience those moments with my family and our beloved cat, Rosita.

Maybe this is the tenth job posting you've read today, on the sofa with Netflix in the background, or in the middle of a career change... and they all seem the same to you.

Let me be clear: at Zurich, we're not perfect, but we're pretty awesome! And if you want to know why, keep reading.

First of all, THANK YOU for being interested in our company. We know that searching for new opportunities can be a challenge, but... don't worry, everything comes in time!

Let's get straight to the point! I'll try to sum up our DNA in 2 points:

  • We love volunteering, but we prefer to be activists for change.  How? By focusing on young people at risk of social exclusion or by fighting climate change through actions like reforesting forests in Madrid and Doñana National Park. In 2025, we logged more than 28,000 hours of activism.
  • At Zurich, we say it loud and clear: we are proud of our colors and we believe that a diverse team makes a difference. Here we don't talk about disability; we talk about ability.  Being able to be yourself is our priority, with no closets standing between us and no glass ceilings. 50% of our management positions are held by women (including the Executive Committee).

Did you know we produce our own podcasts about sexual identity? We are building a company where everyone is welcome.

And you might be wondering: Mariana, what will my day-to-day be like wearing the blue jersey? I love that you ask that question (I asked it myself back in the day):

We are looking for a Collective Life-Risk Policy Specialist, within the USM Life unit, to handle the end-to-end management of large corporations throughout the entire life cycle of a group policy.

  • You will be the person responsible for the operations of clients with Group Risk Insurance.
  • You will proactively ensure that all group insurance operations are carried out on time, efficiently, and with excellent service.
  • You will be the point of contact with the Broker and/or the HR manager or Financial manager of the companies, to ensure that all group insurance operations are carried out and delivered on time and in the proper manner.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring that the SLA's and KPI's set in the policy are met.
  • You will proactively provide clients with the information required by law and by contract.

At this point, you might be wondering, how do I know if I'm a fit?

Don't worry, I'm not going to ask you to save the planet or meet 100% of the requirements.

  • You have the ability to work in a team and a strong focus on customer service and results.
  • You bring decision-making and communication skills.
  • You are a proactive person.
  • You have a strong command of the Office suite (Excel, at a demonstrably high level, etc.).
  • You are focused on service excellence.
  • You have knowledge of the Proteo application (a plus).
  • You bring experience in life or accident insurance management (a plus).
  • You have an intermediate level of English.
  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, or Statistics.

Right now, you're either feeling the excitement of a pair of pants fitting perfectly, or you're thinking, "this isn't for me" (if it's not for you, no problem, we'll cross paths again in the future). You can play matchmaker by sharing my contact with anyone you think might be a good fit.

At Zurich, we really know how to enjoy life, we like to live it to the fullest. You'll have to tell me how we can make you happy, but I love being able to balance my work with my personal life. Here, flexible working hours and digital disconnection are real.

#BecauseOfZurich, you can choose the benefits that best suit your needs. We know that different strokes for different folks.

  • We offer you a super flexible hybrid model to work.
  • We believe in the philosophy of learning by doing, so you can move to other areas locally or internationally through our "Talent in Motion" program. And to keep up with your development and growth: English classes, training, and a personalized mentoring program.
  • We want to break your expectations of flexible compensation. With our benefits package, you can choose what works best for you and your needs: health insurance, childcare, training, restaurant tickets... and much more!
  • We like to put smiles on people's faces, and at Zurich we know that's easier than it seems, which is why we're activists. And why not dedicate a whole day to the cause you're most passionate about?
  • Referral bonus if you recommend a talent like you. We're not looking for anyone perfect, but if you know someone who's awesome, share my contact with them, I'd love to meet them.
  • If you have a sporting spirit, at Zurich we're going for gold! Marathons, races, gym discounts, and much more. 3,2,1... warm up, we're off!
  • Are you more of a beach or mountain person? You'll have 25 days of vacation, plus the insurance day and your birthday off to enjoy what you love most. But don't be fooled, real disconnection. Because yes, we all deserve a little break and to enjoy life, which is only two days.
  • At Zurich, we think about your future and offer you a retirement plan and life insurance.
  • We're looking for the best prices for you! You'll have access to thousands of discounts on insurance and banking products.

If you've made it this far, THANK YOU for reading. What did you think? Are we awesome or not?

If you've felt butterflies in your stomach and think we're a match, send a smoke signal, or your CV, if smoke isn't your thing.

And to wrap up, do you want to know what other people who are part of Zurich think? I'd say we're still at the top of Top Employers Spain as a calling card, but I encourage you to check out our Glassdoor profile so they can tell you themselves. No tricks, no gimmicks.

I hope to meet you very soon.
