Job description

What you will do...

• Handle daily reports submitted to the hotel (incidents, complaints, guest requests, and requests from other departments) through the CMMS.

• Complete mandatory daily records.

• Perform preventive maintenance on hotel rooms and facilities.

• Repairs to kitchen equipment.

• Verify the proper functioning of the facilities.

• Carry out general maintenance and inventory tasks related to engineering.

• Preventive and corrective maintenance of facilities, including electrical systems, air conditioning, carpentry, locksmithing, painting, etc.

• Legionella control and prevention, safety and evacuation regulations (in case of fire, accident, etc.)

• Vocational training or higher degree in electrical engineering.

• Vocational training in industrial refrigeration.

• Legionella control certificate.

• Knowledge of audiovisual installations.

• Knowledge in all areas of hotel maintenance.

• Knowledge of CMMS platforms.

• Good English skills will be valued.

• Flexible schedule for rotating shifts and weekend work.

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.

The Hoxton, Poblenou is located in Barcelona and is our 11th Hoxton hotel. The hotel has 240 rooms of various sizes, a large Four Corners restaurant with The Slice shop and La Bodega, the Tope taqueria on the rooftop with a pool, a huge event space in the basement, and The Apartment (our exclusive meetings and events concept).

Lo que harás...

• Atender los partes diarios que se reporten en el hotel (incidencias, quejas, peticiones de clientes y de otros departamentos) a través de GMAO.

• Completar diariamente los registros obligatorios.

• Realizar el mantenimiento preventivo de habitaciones e instalaciones del hotel.

• Reparaciones en equipamiento de cocina.

• Verificar el buen funcionamiento de las instalaciones.

• Realizar tareas de mantenimiento general e inventario relacionadas con ingeniería.

• Mantenimiento preventivo y correctivo de las instalaciones a nivel de electricidad, acondicionamiento de aire, carpintería, cerrajería, pintura, etc.

• Control y prevención de Legionela, las normas de seguridad y evacuación (en caso de incendio, accidente, etc.)

• Formación profesional en frío industrial.

• Carnet de control de Legionella.

• Conocimientos en montajes audiovisuales.

• Conocimiento en todas las áreas de mantenimiento de un hotel.

• Conocimiento en plataforma GMAO

• Se valorará buen conocimiento de inglés.

• Flexibilidad horaria para realizar turnos rotativos y trabajar fines de semana.

• Capacidad para trabajar eficientemente bajo presión.
