Foundry Operator or Furnace Worker

Duties

Your main responsibilities will include:

- Handling, control, and supervision of melting furnaces.

- Loading of raw materials (scrap, ingots, foundry returns, and alloys).

- Preparation of loads for furnace feeding.

- Monitoring and control of temperatures and melting parameters.

- Taking and preparing samples for quality control.

- Transport and handling of molten metal using ladles.

- Operation of a wheel loader for loading and unloading materials.

- Use of overhead cranes and, occasionally, forklifts.

- Preparation, cleaning, and conditioning of furnaces and facilities.

- Cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment and the work area.

- Strict compliance with safety rules and procedures.

-Previous experience in foundry, melting, or similar industrial processes.

-Experience in handling melting furnaces will be valued.

-License and experience in overhead cranes, forklifts, or wheel loaders will be valued.
