The duties include:
- Preparation of information, intervening in the preparation, research, and writing phases, taking responsibility for their sources and the assessment and orientation of the content.
- Searching for news or topics of interest and obtaining information about them.
- Proposing the approach to the news story or topic to be covered, following the news formats of RPC or the specific formats of each of its programs.
- Proposing which person/s should intervene in the news story or program. If the topic requires it, conducting interviews.
- Producing all types of radio and/or news spaces in their various phases, both in writing and orally.
- Knowing and using the low-frequency equipment necessary for the fulfillment of their work.
- They may assume the coordination of the technical personnel required in program production.
- Searching for information, evaluation, and proposal of facts susceptible to becoming news.
- Performing tasks that, according to the position, are entrusted to them by their immediate superior.
