The role
From Adecco we are looking for welder profiles for an important company specialized in heavy machinery for underground and open-pit mining, located in Sallent-Súria.
What you'll do
Functions:
- Carry out the assembly and welding of metal structures.
- Perform welding work with continuous wire and cutting with a blowtorch.
- Prepare and condition the materials, equipment and tools needed for each job.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics and specifications.
- Inspect and correct possible defects in the welds performed.
- Perform basic maintenance, cleaning and care tasks for equipment and tools.
- Comply with quality, safety and occupational risk prevention procedures.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure compliance with established deadlines.
- Availability to work both outdoors and inside the mine when necessary.
How you'll work
Working hours from Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience as a welder.
Experience in continuous wire welding (MIG/MAG) and cutting with a blowtorch.
Experience in TIG, MIG or stick electrode welding is a plus.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Availability to travel when the project requires it.
Training related to welding or mechanical manufacturing is a plus.
Responsible, autonomous person with a focus on quality and safety.
