FUNCTIONS AND TASKS:
- Perform functional tests on PCB prototypes and pre-series following validation plans.
- Execute cycling tests (on/off, switching, communications, loads) and stress tests on boards under various conditions (voltage, temperature, load, disturbances).
- Set up and operate test benches with complex system configurations (multiple zones, gateways, HVAC equipment from different manufacturers, communication networks, accessories) reproducing real installation scenarios.
- Capture and analyze signals using an oscilloscope, logic analyzer, and multimeter: levels, timing, signal integrity, noise, and communication lines (UART, RS-485, CAN, I²C, SPI, etc.).
- SMD and THT soldering and rework on prototypes, including board modifications (mods, changing fine components, soldering wires and connectors).
- Document results, incidents, and test traceability; report findings and detected anomalous behaviors to the responsible engineer.
- Support the hardware team in preparing samples and setups for reliability, EMC/EMI, and certification tests.
