Technicians in our Data Center Operations team perform hands-on hardware maintenance, including server installation, replacement, and troubleshooting of failed components like hard drives, memory modules, and network cards.

A day in the life

Your day will be dynamic and impactful, diving into the intricate world of data center operations. You'll navigate through hardware diagnostics, network troubleshooting, and collaborative problem-solving, working alongside a diverse team of technical experts to maintain the robust infrastructure that keeps AWS running seamlessly.

- Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and network infrastructure issues with precision and efficiency

- Conduct thorough root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement preventative solutions

- Maintain rigorous safety standards and contribute to a proactive safety culture

- Perform physical repairs and equipment maintenance across data center environments

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive comprehensive technical solutions

How you'll work

*Please note that this role involves working on a shift rotation that includes working early mornings, nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Our sites are often in areas without public transportation links and would require access to your own transportation to the work location.
