Cleaning Assistant

• Demonstrated ability to follow existing procedures while performing routine tasks.
• Courteous treatment.
• Flexibility in hours and duties.

This position may have physical demands including but not limited to lifting weights, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or standing or walking for long periods of time. This position may also require the use of uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Person responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of the areas assigned both by their supervisor and by the clients. Basic functions and job responsibilities may vary from one center to another depending on the requirements of the center, the client, and the business.

• Ensure that all areas have been thoroughly cleaned.
• Ensure that all equipment is used and stored properly.
• Ensure regular inspection of equipment and report any deficiencies.
• Support laundry systems.
• Carry out extra deep cleans as necessary.
• Follow safety regulations.
• Use of internal laundry if applicable.
• Follow health and safety regulations as well as the fire policy.
• Report any potential hazards to Management.
• Maintain the hygiene standards of the components.
• Follow company or component regulations to address customer feedback or complaints.
• Ensure that both clothing, including footwear and hairnets, and personal hygiene follow the highest standards at all times.
• Participate in company training to improve performance and efficiency.
• Suggest areas for improvement and carry out corrective actions as necessary.
• Follow any other reasonable instruction from Aramark Management.
