Kitchen Assistant - Service Station (Palencia)

The food preparation person is responsible for assisting cooks, chefs, or food service managers by preparing ingredients for recipes and performing other food preparation and service tasks.

You must prepare food according to recipes and production guidelines, while respecting food safety, food handling, and hygiene procedures.

The essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary depending on the Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

• Prepare a variety of foods according to production guidelines and standardized recipes.
• Organize the workstation with all necessary ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, cutting, and peeling food.
• Safely use a certain number of utensils including knives.
• Organize, decorate, and portion food according to established guidelines.
• Correctly store food, following food safety regulations and procedures.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Maintain excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward guests, customers, coworkers...
• Adhere to Aramark safety policies and procedures, including food safety and cleaning.
• Ensure the security of company assets.
