We are committed to the comprehensive care and emotional well-being of our residents, which is why we are looking to hire a Psychologist who shares our vocation of care and companionship, at our Ballesol Easo residence.

What you'll do

  • Perform cognitive, emotional, and behavioral assessments of the residents.
  • Design individual and group psychological intervention plans.
  • Design cognitive stimulation, memory, and attention programs.
  • Offer emotional support to residents and families in situations of grief, anxiety, depression, or adaptation.
  • Advise and guide families on managing difficult situations.
  • Collaborate in the design of care plans (PAI /PIA) together with the rest of the interdisciplinary team.
  • Intervene in the prevention and management of behavioral alterations (agitation, aggressiveness, apathy).
  • Develop educational work within your functional scope. 

What will your mission be?

As a psychologist, your mission will be to contribute to the psychological well-being of the residents through individualized care that covers their needs. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Psychology.
  • Specialization in Clinical or Health Psychology (via PIR, via Master's in General Health Psychology, or via the exceptional habilitation route)
  • MANDATORY Homologation by the Ministry of Education, in the case of foreign qualifications
  • Be registered with the corresponding Official College of Psychology and up to date with professional membership obligations.
  • Desirable at least one year of previous experience in the geriatric field and knowledge about the user profile of residences.
