Vehicle Part Conformity Engineer

• Industrial/mechanical engineer or experienced quality technician
• Mastery of geometry (technical references and processes). Analysis of clearances and flushness
• Knowledge of vehicle assembly
• Knowledge of interior and exterior equipment
• Knowledge of product design fundamentals for the vehicle body
• Mastery of the CAD CATIA V6 tool
• Control of control processes, statistical analysis
• Languages: high level English, French is a plus.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive

We are looking for Process Engineers to join industrialization and serial production projects for new vehicles.

The PPC (Pilot Convergence Conception) must define, facilitate, and lead the most effective geometric and functional synthesis possible during the project stages.

• Lead the geometric and functional convergence of interior and exterior equipment:
  • Define the control plan
  • Produce the ASSEMBLY output section notebooks
  • Produce the part interface sheets
  • Participate in project instances
  • Validate the geometric requirements of the condition plans
  • Negotiate and formalize the supplier commitment
  • Participate in the robust design of their perimeter (specific project numerical definitions, analysis of numerical definition robustness...)
  • Control the progress of their deliverables (Technical Specification of purchased parts)
  • Participate in the preparation of the MAPIEX Load Notebook (Filter for transmitting numerical data and study review)
  • Lead the definition of the Customer Aspect Reference (C/B defect limit) once validated with the quality management.
• Lead the application of the Geometry Technical Reference:
  
  • Facilitate the STYLE/TECHNIQUE convergence and the organic conception of the vehicle's interior and exterior equipment parts.
  • Guarantee the application of the Geometry Technical Reference in projects (Dimensioning of the Must have).
  • Identify/handle risk innovations and concepts outside of the initial Technical Reference.
  • Facilitate aesthetic and functional convergence.
