Safety Engineer - Aerospace field

We are looking for a Safety Engineer who will participate in the development and definition of the maintenance program for a Spanish-designed and manufactured aircraft for a leading client in the aerospace sector.

The selected person will be part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for analyzing systems, structures, and zonal aspects of the aircraft to define an optimized maintenance strategy that guarantees safety, reliability, and operational availability throughout the product life cycle.

• Participation in the development and definition of the aircraft maintenance program following applicable aeronautical methodologies and standards.
• Maintenance analysis of systems, evaluating functions, functional failures, failure modes, and criticality levels to define preventive tasks and maintenance intervals.
• Performance of zonal analyses considering equipment density, accessibility, segregation requirements, and the presence of combustible, flammable, or corrosive fluids to identify maintenance and inspection needs.
• Development of structural analyses to evaluate environmental or accidental deterioration mechanisms that may affect the integrity of the aircraft structure.
• Definition of preventive inspections and maintenance actions aimed at guaranteeing airworthiness and operational reliability.
• Coordination with the Engineering and Safety departments, as well as different client stakeholders, during the development and validation phases of the maintenance program.
• Analysis, review, and integration of technical documentation from suppliers and maintenance recommendations.
• Participation in technical reviews with the client and in maintenance program acceptance activities.
• Ensuring that the developed activities comply with applicable operational, regulatory, and certification requirements.
• Contributing to the optimization of aircraft life cycle costs through the definition of efficient maintenance strategies.
