We are looking for an ASSEMBLY PROCESS ENGINEER to join one of our teams in Martorell.

What you'll do

You will lead the design and industrialization of assembly lines/equipment (series and prototypes) in a premium automotive project, ensuring QCD (quality, cost, and delivery) and compliance with HSE and ergonomics, in a multisite environment.

Your key impact

  • Define layout and process: stations, tooling, automation, poka-yokes, and traceability.
  • Translate customer requirements into technical specifications: CT, capacity, OEE, in-line controls, safety/ergonomics.
  • Lead technical supplier management: design reviews, manufacturing, FAT, and installation.
  • Coordinate validation and commissioning: SAT, capacity, repeatability/robustness + handover (training and documentation).
  • Drive continuous improvement to optimize CT, OEE, quality, and costs.

Requirements

  • Education: Engineering degree (preferably Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial, Automation or similar).
  • Experience: minimum 5 years in automotive/industrialization/assembly engineering or a similar role.
  • Technical skills:
  • Assembly and industrialization processes.
  • Technical management of machinery/tooling, ideally with experience in FAT/SAT and commissioning.
  • HSE and ergonomics applied to stations/equipment.
  • FMEA and risk analysis in industrialization.
  • Reading of drawings and tolerances; knowledge of automation/PLC (valuable).
  • Supplier management and project milestone tracking.
  • Languages: Spanish and advanced English (technical meetings, documentation, and support in the UK).
  • Skills: results orientation (QCD), problem-solving, cross-functional communication, documentation rigor, teamwork, and adaptability to an international environment.
