Requirements

What we're looking for

  • Higher Level Vocational Training (FP) in Electronics, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, or similar.
  • Basic knowledge of electronic components and interpretation of technical documentation.
  • Familiarity with the organization and updating of information in databases or component management tools.
  • Having used an electronic design tool, such as Altium Designer, KiCad, OrCAD, Eagle, or equivalent, during training, internships, or professional experience.
  • Organization, attention to detail, and interest in developing yourself in the field of libraries and electronic components.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Altium Designer.
  • Creation or modification of symbols and footprints.
  • Handling of datasheets and bills of materials.
  • English for consulting technical documentation.

The role

At BETWEEN, we are looking to hire an Electronic Components and PCB Library Technician to participate in projects within the aerospace and defense sector.

You will join an engineering team, providing support in the organization and maintenance of technical information for electronic components and the libraries used in printed circuit board design.

This is an opportunity open to people who are starting their professional career: we value the knowledge acquired during training, internships, and academic or personal projects.

What you'll do

  • Support the creation, updating, and maintenance of electronic component libraries.
  • Register and review technical component information in databases.
  • Consult manufacturer documentation and datasheets to complete and verify data.
  • Collaborate in the preparation and review of component symbols and footprints used in electronic design tools.
  • Provide support to the engineering team in the organization and consultation of this information, maintaining its consistency and traceability.
