About the role

In Corporate & Investment Banking Solutions, we are launching a recruitment process to bring an Analyst on board for the Credit Portfolio Analysis team.

The growing level of sophistication in the transactions and projects developed with major national and international corporations requires professionals with a solid financial foundation, strong analytical skills, and excellent risk judgment.

This is a unique opportunity to join a highly specialized team, taking part in the assessment, structuring, and monitoring of complex transactions, with constant exposure to top-tier clients and the main areas of Corporate & Investment Banking.

In addition, the position offers a significant international component, requiring frequent interaction in English, both oral and written.

Comprehensive management of the asset business analysis for CIB IB. Organized by sector, the role works as a Credit Analyst providing a clear commercial vision, in coordination with CIB IB commercial and product teams and the Risk departments. Credit risk analysis for the different CIB business areas (Corporate, Structured Finance, Project Finance, Asset Finance, Factoring, Treasury...). Liaison between clients, Business, Risk, and other Shared Services departments. Identification of investment/business opportunities in managed sectors and groups. Monitoring and analysis of the overall profitability of each client/group, capital consumption, and RAR. Advisory to International Banking on analysis, risk management, and RAR.

What you'll do

  • Analyze, prepare, and draft credit proposals for large corporations, assessing the purpose of the financing, the client's creditworthiness, and their repayment capacity.
  • Perform advanced economic and financial analysis, financial models, and cash flow studies.
  • Supervise and monitor the overall profitability of clients, including capital consumption, RAR, negotiated compensation, and other value creation indicators.
  • Prepare documentation and executive reports, most of them entirely in English.
  • Participate in meetings and client visits to gain deeper insight into their business, strategy, financial situation, and financing needs.
  • Coordinate with Structured Finance, Project Finance, Rating, Monitoring, Risk, and other specialized bank areas.
  • Maintain ongoing dialogue with the corporate Risk areas, contributing to transaction approval and monitoring processes.

Education & certifications

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in corporate credit risk analysis, corporate banking, or structured finance.
  • University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Postgraduate education in Finance, Capital Markets, or Corporate Finance will be especially valued.
  • CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) certification, or being in the process of obtaining it, is highly valued.
