Cloud Operations & Finops Manager

The aim of this call is to bring on board a Cloud Operations & FinOps Manager, responsible for co-leading the operation of public and hybrid Cloud environments, ensuring the availability, stability, security, and economic efficiency of technology services. 

The position will be part of the initiatives to evolve the organization's Cloud operating model, ensuring efficient service management, compliance with established service levels, and continuous optimization of Cloud-related resources and costs.

The mission of the area is to drive a scalable, resilient, and sustainable Cloud operating model, aligning business needs with best practices in Cloud Operations, IT Service Management, and FinOps in a highly regulated environment.

The main areas of focus include:

• End-to-end management of Cloud services in public and hybrid environments.
• Evolution and governance of the Cloud operating model.
• Vendor management and compliance with SLAs and SLOs.
• Promotion of FinOps practices for cost optimization and control. 
• Definition and monitoring of operational, capacity, and performance indicators.
• Promotion of automation, observability, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The main responsibilities of the position include:

• Overseeing the operation of Cloud platforms and ensuring their availability and performance. 
• Leading the management of critical incidents, problems, changes, and operational processes.
• Defining and monitoring the operational and financial KPIs of services.
• Coordinating relationships with Cloud vendors and specialized technical teams.
• Preparing budgets, forecasts, and business cases associated with Cloud services.
• Identifying opportunities for cost optimization and operational improvement.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory, security, and service quality requirements.
• Driving the evolution of the operating model toward more efficient and automated environments.

Design and define the strategy, evolution, and operation of technology platforms or parts thereof. Also monitor the development and implementation of the entity's cloud technology, managing and ensuring the efficiency and quality of environment operations.

• University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related disciplines.
• Advanced level of English, both oral and written.
• Experience in Cloud operations management in corporate environments.
• Knowledge of Azure, AWS, and/or GCP platforms. Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and IT service management.
• Knowledge of FinOps, budget control, and financial management of technology services.
• Analytical skills, service orientation, and a results-driven approach.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in ICT operations, with experience in Cloud environments.
• Previous experience as a Service Manager, Cloud Operations Manager, Platform Manager, or similar roles.
• Knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, networking, identity, and Cloud security services.
• Experience managing vendors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Practical knowledge of ITIL and transition-to-operations processes.
• Ability to prepare business cases, forecasts, and financial analyses of technology services.
• Experience in regulated or highly critical environments.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.

El objetivo de esta convocatoria es la incorporación de un/a Gerente Cloud Operations & FinOps, responsable de co-liderar la operación de los entornos Cloud públicos e híbridos, garantizando la disponibilidad, estabilidad, seguridad y eficiencia económica de los servicios tecnológicos. 

La posición formará parte de las iniciativas de evolución del modelo operativo Cloud de la organización, asegurando una gestión eficiente de los servicios, el cumplimiento de los niveles de servicio establecidos y la optimización continua de los recursos y costes asociados al Cloud.

La misión del área es impulsar un modelo de operación Cloud escalable, resiliente y sostenible, alineando las necesidades del negocio con las mejores prácticas de Cloud Operations, IT Service Management y FinOps en un entorno altamente regulado.

Entre los principales ámbitos de actuación destacan:

• Gestión end-to-end de los servicios Cloud en entornos públicos e híbridos.
• Evolución y gobierno del modelo operativo Cloud.
• Gestión de proveedores y cumplimiento de SLAs y SLOs.
• Impulso de prácticas FinOps para la optimización y control del gasto. 
• Definición y seguimiento de indicadores operativos, de capacidad y rendimiento.
• Promoción de iniciativas de automatización, observabilidad y mejora continua.

Entre las principales funciones del puesto destacan:

• Supervisar la operación de las plataformas Cloud y garantizar su disponibilidad y rendimiento. 
• Liderar la gestión de incidencias críticas, problemas, cambios y procesos operativos.
• Definir y hacer seguimiento de los KPIs operativos y económicos de los servicios.
• Coordinar la relación con proveedores Cloud y equipos técnicos especializados.
• Elaborar presupuestos, previsiones y business casas asociados a servicios Cloud.
• Identificar oportunidades de optimización de costes y mejora operativa.
• Garantizar el cumplimiento de los requisitos regulatorios, de seguridad y de calidad del servicio.

• Titulación universitaria superior en Ingeniería, Informática, Telecomunicaciones o disciplinas afines.

• Conocimiento de plataformas Azure, AWS y/o GCP.Coneixement de marcos ITIL y gestión de servicios TI.

• Capacidad analítica, orientación al servicio y enfoque a resultados.

• Experiencia mínima de 5 años en operaciones TIC, con experiencia en entornos Cloud.
• Experiencia previa como Service Manager, Cloud Operations Manager, Platform Manager o funciones similares.
• Conocimiento de servicios IaaS, PaaS, networking, identidad y seguridad Cloud.
• Experiencia en la gestión de proveedores y equipos multidisciplinares.
• Conocimiento práctico de ITIL y de los procesos de transición a operación.
• Capacidad para elaborar business casas, forecasts y análisis económicos de servicios tecnológicos.
• Experiencia en entornos regulados o de alta criticidad.
• Excelentes habilidades de comunicación, coordinación y liderazgo.
