The role

Job Ref ID: JR0087139

The Commercial Strategy Analyst is the analytical engine behind Glovo's XL business performance. As part of the Commercial Strategy team — a new and strategic capability within Glovo — you will be the person who turns data into clarity and clarity into action for our commercial teams.

This is not a passive reporting role. You will own the rhythm of our business performance: building the tools we rely on, driving our weekly and monthly cadences, spotting what's working (and what isn't), and making sure the right people have the right insights at the right time. You'll work closely with XL commercial teams, finance, and operations to ensure Glovo's business is always moving in the right direction.

  • You're building something from scratch: Trading is a new capability at Glovo. There's no inherited playbook, no existing dashboard to maintain. You will help shape how this function operates — which tools get built, how performance gets reviewed, and what good looks like.

  • Small team, outsized visibility: You'll be part of a tight-knit team where your work lands directly in front of commercial leadership. There's no layer of anonymity here — your analysis will drive real decisions.

  • The XL business is not a side bet: this is one of Glovo's most strategic verticals. The partners are major, the volumes are significant, and the commercial conversations are substantive. You'll have a front-row seat to how that business is run.

  • High standards, fast feedback: The XL team operates with a very high bar for preparation, rigour, and follow-through. You will be expected to meet it — and you'll find the environment sharper and more rewarding for it.

What you'll do

  • Build and maintain the analytical infrastructure the XL team depends on — dashboards, trackers, and performance tools that make it fast and easy to understand what's happening across the business.

  • Drive our business performance cadence — own weekly, monthly, and quarterly reviews for the XL vertical, ensuring data is accurate, timely, and tells a clear story.

  • Identify negative trends and growth opportunities — proactively monitor KPIs, flag anomalies early, and dig into root causes so the team can act quickly.

  • Translate data into actionable recommendations — package your findings into clear, concise insights and strategic recommendations for commercial and senior leadership stakeholders.

  • Support planning cycles — contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and QBR processes with robust, bottom-up analysis.

  • Continuously improve how we work — challenge existing processes and reporting structures, and propose smarter ways to operate.
