About the company
Embassy Summer is a global leader in educational travel and summer study-abroad programs, offering immersive English language learning experiences for international students. The company operates year-round language centers and summer camp locations across multiple countries, with a strong presence in the United Kingdom, the United States, and Spain. Embassy Summer combines academic instruction with cultural activities, excursions, and a supportive residential environment, making it a well-known choice for young learners seeking to improve their English skills abroad.
In Spain, Embassy Summer operates a dedicated language center in Valencia, where it hires seasonal camp monitors and Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE) teachers. The Valencia campus is a key destination for international students, and the company actively recruits international staff to support its multicultural, English-speaking work environment. For international professionals, Embassy offers a dynamic, fast-paced work setting in a sunny Mediterranean location, with the opportunity to work alongside colleagues from around the world and gain experience in education and youth services.
For International Professionals
- Embassy's Valencia center runs seasonal summer programs, so most roles (camp monitors, ELE teachers) are fixed-term contracts from late spring to early autumn.
- The work environment is highly international — staff and students come from all over the world, and English is the working language.
- Accommodation and meals are typically provided for residential camp staff, which can significantly reduce living costs in Valencia.
- The company values cultural exchange and organizes excursions and activities for both students and staff, offering a lively, social work experience.
- Previous experience working with children or in education is often valued, and a TEFL or similar qualification is commonly required for teaching roles.
