About the role

If you want to transform the future of energy, we are looking for an ELECTRICAL, INSTRUMENTATION AND CONTROL MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST to join our Maintenance team in San Roque (Cádiz).

You will work at the San Roque Combined Cycle Power Plant. It has an installed capacity of approximately more than 405 MW, based on combined cycle technology, mainly consisting of: 1 Steam Turbine, 1 Gas Turbine.

Regarding the Maintenance area, the plant carries out intense preventive and corrective maintenance activity and planned overhauls, which are essential to ensure the availability, reliability and efficiency of the equipment.

Maintenance is especially relevant given the technological complexity of the combined cycle, the high operating standards and the regulatory requirements associated with this type of facility.

What you will do

In this role, you will support the team in the following activities:

Carry out electrical, instrumentation and control maintenance work on the plant's various equipment, in accordance with work instructions and routines.

Supervise and execute corrective, predictive and preventive maintenance work performed on the plant's various equipment.

Maintain, assemble and check equipment, devices and electrical circuits, as well as control systems, taking responsibility for the operation of your own activity.

Operationally supervise the performance of such work, in accordance with work instructions and routines.

Actively participate in compliance with all regulations established in environmental and occupational risk prevention matters.

Collaborate in the practical training of other workers.

Perform and supervise the activities specific to Electrical, Instrumentation and Control Maintenance within their scope of action, in accordance with current procedures and legislation.

Perform any other duties that, within the scope of their professional skills, specialties and position, and in accordance with applicable regulations, may be assigned by their superiors due to service needs.

What is required?

The minimum requirements for this position are:

Education: FP2 degree in electricity or electronics

Languages: Native or C2 Spanish

Knowledge: Identifies and knows the functions of the various equipment in a Power Plant. Ability to interpret industrial process diagrams

Skills: Change management, complex problem solving, communication, customer orientation, results orientation and collaboration.

Nice to have

The following will be valued:

  • At least 3 years of electrical, instrumentation and control maintenance in an industrial environment, in maintenance of electrical power systems (LV/MV), in diagnosis and troubleshooting of electrical and instrumentation equipment faults, participation in plant shutdowns, overhauls or commissioning, and use of diagnostic tools and measuring equipment.
  • Interpretation of electrical diagrams, control loops and instrumentation drawings, knowledge of industrial electrical equipment, experience with the work permit and isolation management system (ePTW, inCheck), experience in maintenance management. Knowledge of the SAP system at user level: work orders, histories.
