Skills and attributes for success

  • Strong hands‑on integration craft, problem‑solving and attention to detail; bias to automate and document.

  • Clear communicator who partners effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders in Agile teams.

  • Quality‑first mindset with ownership through build, test, cutover and hypercare.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • 3+ years' experience integrating SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central in multi‑system environments.

  • Proficiency with OData/SFAPI, Integration Center and SAP Integration Suite/CPI for API/SFTP/event‑driven patterns.

  • Demonstrated delivery of integrations through SIT/UAT, cutover and stabilization, including monitoring and error handling.

  • Fluent English (written and spoken); Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or 7+ experience on SAP Successfactors Projects

Nice to have

Ideally, you'll also have

  • Exposure to post‑merger integration (PMI) and multi‑vendor HR/payroll landscapes (e.g., ECP/ADP/SAP HCM).

  • Experience with Boomi/MuleSoft/Kafka/Event Hubs, ServiceNow and UKG integrations.

  • German/Spanish/French language skills is a plus.

Senior SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Integration Consultant- EY GDS Spain - Hybrid

The opportunity

Join a fast‑growing HR Technology team delivering a global SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) program from our EY GDS Spain hub in Málaga. You'll be a senior, hands‑on integrator shaping how EC connects to payroll, identity, time, benefits, finance and analytics using modern patterns (SAP Integration Suite/CPI, OData/SFAPI, Intelligent Services/Business Events), with strong observability and security by design. You'll collaborate across countries and domains, work hybrid from Málaga, and see your work go live at scale.

As a member of our team in the EY GDS Spain office in Malaga, you'll have a chance to extend your knowledge & experience by working on interesting projects with the newest technologies and approaches. You'll support clients in choosing the most suitable business solution and take part in digital transformation.

What you'll do

Your key responsibilities

  • Design, build and maintain EC integrations using OData/SFAPI, Integration Center and SAP Integration Suite/CPI; leverage Intelligent Services/Business Events where appropriate.

  • Define mappings, transformations, error handling and monitoring/alerting; contribute to an interface catalog and operational runbooks.

  • Collaborate with IAM/Security on SSO (SAML/OIDC), RBAC and encryption; ensure GDPR and auditability requirements are met.

  • Execute unit, component and SIT testing; support UAT, data reconciliations, performance testing and production cutovers.

  • Produce high‑quality documentation (specs, sequence diagrams, deployment guides) and deliver knowledge transfer; provide hypercare support post go‑live.

  • Work closely with Payroll, HR Ops, TA, Finance/ERP, UKG and Data/Analytics teams; limited travel as needed.
