About the role

At GI BPO we are looking to hire 1 Shipping Coordinator and Warehouse Team to work at an industrial client located in Cordovilla (Navarra). If you are passionate about logistics "for real", with a daily pace, coordination with transportation and a focus on customer service, this position could be a great fit for you.

What will your mission be?

Ensure that shipments go out on time and correctly, coordinating loads, carriers, documentation, and the operations team, while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and traceability standards.

What you'll do

Shipping management

  • Planning and coordinating loads and shipments.
  • Assigning and coordinating carriers.
  • Preparing and managing transport documentation: delivery notes, CMR, and labels.
  • Monitoring deliveries and meeting deadlines (OTIF).
  • Coordinating with Production and Warehouse to ensure availability and priorities.
  • Resolving logistics issues and managing unforeseen events.
  • Communicating with clients and transport companies as needed.
  • Managing shippable stock and recording movements in the ERP.
  • Overseeing compliance with quality, safety, and traceability procedures.

Coordination of the forklift team

  • Organizing and planning the daily work of the forklift team.
  • Assigning tasks and resources based on production and shipping needs.
  • Supervising compliance with operational and safety procedures.
  • Monitoring team performance and productivity.
  • Coordinating with the Production, Warehouse, and Quality departments.
  • Training and integrating new team members.
  • Controlling preventive maintenance of handling equipment and proposing improvements to optimize processes.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in shipping/logistics/warehousing in an industrial environment (metal sector valued).
  • Experience with ERP systems and logistics documentation (delivery notes/CMR).
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to coordinate operational teams (or strong motivation to take that step).
  • Higher degree in Logistics and Transport

Nice to have

  • Forklift license (UNE) and experience in warehouse/shipping environments.
  • Occupational health and safety training (PRL) related to industry/metal.
  • Own vehicle required due to access/schedule, depending on location.
