Requirements

What we're looking for

Studies in transport (Higher Degree in Transport and Logistics) or equivalent experience.
Advanced level of English; a second language will be valued.
Intermediate level of office software.

Nice to have

Proactive and resourceful person.
Customer orientation, both internal and external, and communication skills.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to lead complex operations in dynamic international environments.
Knowledge of the transport sector (positions such as fleet/transport manager) will be valued.

The role

We are looking for a Traffic Manager to join our team team in the transport division, based at our corporate offices in Zaragoza.

What you'll do

Monitoring the movements of the dedicated fleet assigned to national and international routes.
Acting as the ongoing point of contact with drivers and clients to resolve needs and incidents.
Managing customs and import/export documentation.
Supervising and optimizing driving and transit times.
Keeping the IT system updated with the information and characteristics of managed trips.
Maximizing profitability on client trips by seeking out loads and/or trucks from partner branches or transport exchanges.
Collaborating with other branches whenever possible to facilitate resources.
Monitoring the performance indicators of managed traffic operations.
Negotiating additional services or those beyond the scope of the contract requested by the client.
