The role

Currently, from the MADRID delegation, we are looking for a GL REPORTING ANALYST for Madrid.

What you'll do

Performing general accounting tasks: journal entries, accruals, prepaid expenses, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Support in monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closings.
Recording and accounting of operations in the ERP system.
Preparation of balance sheet account reconciliations, identification of discrepancies, and resolution of incidents.
Ensuring compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, and auditing standards.
Preparation and maintenance of documentation for internal and external audits.
Preparation of financial reports and variance analysis, identifying possible irregularities or trends.
Collaboration with other financial areas, such as Treasury, Tax, and accounts payable and receivable departments.
Monitoring of operating procedures and participation in continuous improvement initiatives.
Support in the implementation of automation, digitalization, and artificial intelligence tools applied to financial processes.
