What you will do in your day-to-day...
Your main mission will be to collaborate in the management of the most relevant client portfolio, in accordance with the guidelines of the Head of Industry/ GTB Director, supporting the Global Bankers as appropriate and occasionally managing certain commercial relationships under their scope of responsibility, in order to ensure the growth, consolidation, and profitability of said portfolio, as well as actively contributing to business generation and the development of high-value commercial relationships with clients.
Your main duties will include:
- In the scope of Corporate Banking Spain and EMEA, you will directly manage smaller or less complex clients, monitoring their operations and financial needs. You will ensure the correct fulfillment of their business and operational commitments and detect additional business opportunities.
- You will collaborate in the management of more relevant clients, supporting the Global Banker or the Head of Industry in the preparation and execution of commercial actions. This will include interacting with the client's financial teams and identifying business needs and opportunities.
- You will lead the preparation of lower-complexity Risk files, performing the financial analysis of the client, preparing the necessary documentation, drafting the executive summary, and coordinating with the Risk areas. You will also participate in the preparation of higher-complexity files.
- You will participate actively, and lead when necessary, in the preparation of presentations, commercial pitches, and materials for client visits, contributing to defining value propositions and the bank's positioning in relevant operations.
- You will perform financial analyses and develop models that allow for the evaluation of the viability of operations, in addition to supporting the structuring of financing proposals and commercial decision-making.
- You will coordinate with the various product areas (Investment Banking, GTB, Treasury, Markets, etc.) the preparation and execution of operations, ensuring the proper integration of the bank's capabilities in the proposals to clients.
- You will participate actively in commercial visits together with the Senior Banker, prepare the necessary documentation for each visit, monitor the pipeline, and support the execution of the Commercial Plan, contributing to the identification of new business opportunities.
- You will control and monitor the fulfillment by clients of their business and operational commitments (collections, payments, financing, drawdowns, etc.), alerting the team to variations or incidents that may affect the business or profitability.
- You will participate in identifying opportunities for improvement in customer service and in detecting cross-selling opportunities, contributing to the increase of client engagement and profitability.
- You will monitor daily management information and relevant indicators, in order to detect risks and opportunities, keeping the information on group positions in your area of action updated.
