The role

From the Hospital Clínico Veterinario UCH-CEU of the Universidad CEU Cardenal Herrera, we are looking for a Veterinary Technical Assistant (ATV) with training and experience in the small animals area to join the team and serve the different hospital sections.

What you'll do

  • Comprehensive clinical assistance: collaborate with the veterinary team in the care, tending, and treatment of small and/or large animals.
  • Safe handling and restraint of animals in diagnostic, surgical, and therapeutic procedures.
  • Preparation of operating room and material: sterilization, setup, and control of instruments and equipment.
  • Appointment management and coordination of workflows to guarantee the correct care of patients.
  • Provide basic information regarding care, treatments, and protocols, always under veterinary supervision.
  • Control and replenishment of material: supervise the stock of medications, consumables, and equipment.
  • Recording and updating clinical histories in internal systems.
  • Collaboration in administrative tasks related to the daily operation of the hospital across the different services.
  • Comply with the highest standards of animal welfare and biosecurity protocols.

How you'll work

  • Immediate start (preferably).
  • Availability to work rotating shifts of morning, afternoon, and night.
