Warehouse Section Manager

Essential requirements:
-Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics, preferably in distribution companies.
-Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and digital logistics tools.
-Knowledge of stock control, picking, packing, and shipping.
-Leadership and ability to manage teams.
-Organization and planning to ensure efficient operations.
-Problem-solving skills and real-time decision-making.
-Teamwork and effective communication with different departments.
-Availability to work the afternoon shift.
-Forklift license.

Valuable Requirements:
-Training in Logistics, Transportation, or similar is valued.
-Driver's license and own vehicle
-Experience in manual pallet shrink-wrapping
-Experience leading operational teams.
-Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations.

At Grupo Erik, we are looking for a Warehouse Section Manager to coordinate and supervise operations during the afternoon shift. The main objective will be to ensure an efficient flow of goods reception, storage, and dispatch, ensuring compliance with deadlines and quality standards, as well as preparing merchandise replenishment for order preparation.

What will you do?

Operational warehouse management:
-Coordinate and supervise the daily activities of the afternoon shift in the warehouse
-Ensure compliance with receiving, preparation, and order dispatch times.
-Optimize the distribution of tasks and resources to maximize productivity

Leadership and team management:
-Manage and motivate the team of operators on the afternoon shift
-Assign tasks and evaluate team performance
-Ensure compliance with safety regulations and good operational practices

Stock control and quality:
-Supervise the correct storage and handling of products
-Ensure compliance with quality standards and minimize incidents
-Collaborate in inventory management and stock control

Safety and regulatory compliance:
-Ensure compliance with safety regulations in the warehouse
-Oversee the maintenance of order and cleanliness in the facilities
-Report incidents and propose improvements in operational processes

Coordination:
-Fluid communication with logistics, purchasing, and transportation teams
-Ensure the correct execution of orders based on production and sales needs
-Report key performance indicators (KPIs) to the Logistics Manager
