What you'll do

The Role
We are looking for a QHSSE Technician for our Automotive Terminal in Motril, who will act as the local reference for Quality, Health, Safety, Security, and Environment.

The selected person will be responsible for supporting the implementation and monitoring of QHSSE standards in terminal operations, ensuring compliance with current regulations, internal procedures, and client and certification requirements.

They will work in close collaboration with the local operations team, terminal management, and the corporate Quality and QHSSE departments.

  • Act as the local point of contact for all matters related to Quality, Health, Safety, Security, and Environment.
  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Risk Prevention regulations, Environmental regulations, and internal procedures.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections of facilities and operations.
  • Participate in the investigation of incidents, accidents, and near misses, proposing and following up on corrective actions.
  • Collaborate in the development and updating of risk assessments and preventive action plans.
  • Coordinate activities related to emergencies, drills, and emergency response plans.
  • Oversee proper waste management and compliance with other applicable legal environmental requirements.
  • Support the preparation and follow-up of internal and external audits and certification processes (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001).
  • Keep the terminal's QHSSE documentation up to date.
  • Participate in training and awareness activities to foster a strong preventive culture.
  • Monitor QHSSE indicators and prepare periodic reports.
  • Coordinate with corporate teams to ensure the proper implementation of standards and best practices.

What we're looking for

  • University or technical degree in Occupational Risk Prevention, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or a related field.
  • Specific training in Occupational Risk Prevention.
  • At least 2-3 years of previous experience in Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (QHSSE) or Prevention roles.
  • Experience in logistics, automotive, port operations, transport, or industrial environments will be valued.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and/or ISO 45001 management systems.
  • Practical, operations-oriented profile with the ability to work in the field.
  • Organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Intermediate level of English is a plus.
