What we're looking for

Availability to work the afternoon shift from Monday to Friday.

Experience in warehouse, loading, unloading, and merchandise control; as well as knowledge of office software (Microsoft Office package).

Minimum of 6 months of recent experience operating a front forklift.

The role

Are you passionate about logistics and warehouse management, and do you have experience with front and reach forklifts?

If you answered "YES" to our question, we have an opportunity for you: we are looking to hire on a TEMPORARY basis with immediate start a Forklift Operator/Handler with forklift experience for the Delegation of Pontevedra, located in Barro, to work the afternoon shift from Monday to Friday.

What you'll do

Your mission...

Carry out loading and unloading activities and maintain proper product rotation in the warehouse.

What will you do on a day-to-day basis?

- Prepare orders based on references and available space in the warehouse: prepare all orders for dispatch, as well as validate, print, and sort loading and unloading delivery notes.

- Transport all orders from all market/commercial areas under the proper conditions.

- Perform loading, unloading, and merchandise control: receive orders, unload merchandise and empty containers, load merchandise onto delivery trucks and unload empty containers; as well as review and control loads to distributors by counting the references of each load.

- Supervise the warehouse to maintain stock control, regarding products or materials: daily count of stock levels, empty containers, and monthly pallet count.

- Maintain order and cleanliness in the warehouse, setting up areas based on material availability and facilitating loading and unloading zones for the dispatch and receipt of orders based on priority.

- Control merchandise distribution routes, checking loads and their registration in the computer system.

- Check traceability of stock, verifying labels match batch numbers, quantities, and expiration dates, creating any incorrect labels.

- Comply with and enforce occupational risk prevention (ORP) regulations.
