What you'll do
Main duties
- RMAN Administration: backups, restores, cloning, and catalog management.
- Installation and administration of Oracle environments: software installation, creation of new databases, upgrades, and patching.
- Basic scripting for the creation and review of chains in Control-M.
- Database availability and performance management: analysis and troubleshooting (HA, CRS, locks, query localization, parameterization, etc.).
- Monitoring and management via Oracle Cloud Control.
- Ticket resolution: incidents, requests, changes, and maintenance tasks.
- Grid Infrastructure Administration: deployment of new clusters and resolution of specific incidents.
- Database tuning: use of tools such as SQL Tuning Advisor, AWR, and execution plan analysis.
- Management of EXACC environments: use of OCI and DBAASCLI.
- Administration of other Oracle functionalities: MGW, ACLs, AQ/MQ, certificates, among others.
