Ingeteam, a leading company specialized in electrical engineering and the development of electrical equipment, motors, generators, and frequency converters, is looking to hire a Bid Manager to join the Sales department of the FACTS Business Unit (Flexible AC Transmission Systems), in Zamudio.

Mission
To manage and coordinate the entire process of preparing and presenting bids for projects and tenders, aligned with client requirements and the strategic objectives of the Business Unit.

What you'll do


Among its main challenges, the role involves:

  • Comprehensive preparation and development of bids from opportunity identification (RFP, RFQ, RFI) to proposal presentation and negotiation.

  • Liaising with multidisciplinary teams (sales, technical, legal, finance, etc.) to develop the documents associated with the technical-commercial offer.

  • Standardizing formats, templates, tools, and processes associated with bid development.

  • Preparing a clear and concise proposal, meeting client requirements and highlighting the company's strengths • Participating in the analysis of the proposal's feasibility and risk.

  • Acting as a liaison between the technical team and the client, holding clarification meetings on bid specifications.

  • Understanding the competitive landscape to develop a bid that offers an advantage over the competition.

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or similar.

  • Advanced level of English (C1).

  • A second language, preferably French, will be valued.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar positions.

  • Experience in the Transmission and Distribution (T&D) network environment; experience in FACTS and renewables will be valued.

  • A proactive person is required, with teamwork skills, flexibility, excellent communication abilities, a strong capacity for learning, and problem-solving skills.
