Electrical Testing & Safety Specialist

• Collaborate with the technical teams of the test benches at Ingeteam's various production plants.

• Participate in the definition and improvement of electrical safety criteria in industrial testing environments.

• Provide technical support for new test benches, engineering modifications, and internal validations.

• Participate in technical audits and follow up on improvement actions related to safety and safe operation of tests.

• Contribute to the global standardization of procedures and testing methodologies across plants and laboratories.

• Collaborate on training and technical awareness actions related to industrial safety and testing best practices.

• Promote tools and methodologies for continuous improvement in risk management.

Ingeteam, a leading company specialized in electrical engineering and the development of electrical equipment, motors, generators, and frequency converters, is looking to hire a technical professional with electrical/electronic training to participate in the definition and improvement of safety for test benches at our production plants.

We are especially looking for profiles with experience in testing environments, commissioning, validation, automation, electrical maintenance, or industrial commissioning, with an interest in evolving towards a specialization role in industrial technical safety.

Contribute to ensuring technical safety of the test benches at Ingeteam's production plants, participating in the definition and standardization of criteria, procedures, and best practices globally, especially in electrical environments and power electronics.

• Technical training: Advanced Vocational Training (FP Grado Superior) or a Degree in Engineering, preferably in Electricity, Electronics, Automation, or similar fields.

• Experience in technical industrial environments such as: test benches, commissioning, validation, automation, industrial electrical maintenance, SAT, or testing of electrical/electronic equipment.

• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and understand power electrical systems, protections, and instrumentation.

• Interest in developing a career in the field of industrial technical safety.

• English B2.

• Availability to travel to the different production plants. Occasionally, to international locations.

• Previous experience in industrial safety, LOTO, risk analysis, or electrical regulations.

• Knowledge of converters, drives, motors, generators, or power electronics.

• Knowledge of technical standards and industrial safety: IEC 60204, IEC 61010, IEC 61800, EN 50110, RD 614/2001, CE marking, Machinery Directive/Regulation, etc.
