What we're looking for

  • IT industry experience: 7 years or more, including collaboration with clients abroad.
  • Experience in business analysis or product management: 5 years or more.
  • Hands-on experience with U.S. Pre-Tax / tax-advantaged employee benefits products is required.
  • Experience with claims, reimbursements, expense eligibility, substantiation, adjudication, and supporting documentation workflows.
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile product delivery.
  • Knowledge of business analysis activities and techniques, requirements lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of requirements management tools (at least JIRA & Confluence).
  • Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to use data and customer feedback to support product decisions.
  • Ability to define product success metrics and evaluate the impact of released functionality.
  • Skills to represent information in graphical form.
  • Systems thinking and ability to understand complex interconnected product and operational flows.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of prototyping tools.

The role

Client is a flexible benefits platform that enables companies to design personalized and inclusive employee benefits programs while reducing administrative complexity and operational overhead for HR teams. The platform provides employees with greater choice and flexibility in how they use their allocated benefits budgets, creating a more engaging and employee-centric benefits experience.

Trusted by leading global organizations such as Stripe, Zoom, Lululemon, and Affirm, the solution supports nearly one million employees and demonstrates strong customer satisfaction metrics, including 75 NPS and 98% CSAT scores.

The project focused on enhancing and scaling Client’s benefits management ecosystem, which allows organizations to configure and manage various employee benefit programs through a unified platform. The product suite includes solutions such as Lifestyle Spending Accounts (LSA), Health Spending Accounts (HSA), Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRA), Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), and additional customizable benefit offerings.

Employees can utilize their benefit funds through multiple channels:

  • purchasing discounted products and services via the internal marketplace (“The Store”),
  • using a dedicated Visa payment card,
  • or submitting reimbursement claims supported by the platform’s member support operations.

From a business analysis perspective, the project involved analyzing business processes, improving platform workflows, supporting integrations between benefits products and payment/reimbursement systems, clarifying stakeholder requirements, and contributing to the optimization of user and HR administration experiences across the platform.

What you'll do

  • Analyze the business, customer, and regulatory context of Pre-Tax benefits products, including HSA, FSA, HRA, and related employee benefit programs. Identify customer needs, pain points, and product opportunities.
  • Own and evolve the product vision and roadmap for assigned Pre-Tax capabilities, balancing customer value, business priorities, regulatory requirements, operational needs, and technical constraints.Analyze the business context and client’s current state. Define business needs.
  • Identify gaps between the current product experience and the target state, and define product initiatives required to close those gaps.
  • Define and track product KPIs and success metrics for key Pre-Tax journeys.
  • Use customer feedback, usage data, operational metrics, and market insights to support prioritization and product decisions.
  • Contribute to product strategy by identifying opportunities to improve adoption, engagement, operational efficiency, and competitiveness of Pre-Tax offerings.
  • Define and manage solution scope, detect, and track changes. Manage requirements-related conflicts and issues up to resolution. Document requirements in accordance with predefined standards and project specific.
  • Specify a list of systems, actors, and organizational departments affected by the solution scope, and define assumptions and constraints. Plan communication with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and teams to reach a common understanding of the solution to address the needs. Manage requirements communication considering the project’s specifics and stakeholders’ preferences.
  • Communicate product priorities, decisions, roadmap updates, and trade-offs clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Support release planning and milestone definition, ensuring that product scope is realistic and aligned with delivery capacity and business priorities.
