About the role

At Izertis, we are looking to expand our team with the addition of a Data Platform Administrator to join one of our most important clients.

What will you do?

What you'll do

  • Administration and operation of data platforms (Stratio Data Fabric, Cloudera and IBM Cognos Analytics).
  • Management of development, pre-production and production environments.
  • Monitoring of infrastructure, services and data pipelines.
  • Management, diagnosis and resolution of incidents.
  • Administration of users, roles, permissions and access.
  • Execution of deployments, updates, configurations and patches.
  • Administration and optimization of Kubernetes clusters and associated infrastructure.
  • Management of backups, restorations and disaster recovery.
  • Ensuring the continuity, availability and security of the platform.
  • Support for ENS compliance and assistance in technical and security audits.
  • Preparation and maintenance of technical and operational documentation.
  • Technical support for users and Public Administration bodies.
  • Automation of operational tasks using Python and/or Bash.
  • Identification and implementation of continuous improvements and platform optimizations.

What we're looking for

What do we look for in you?

  • At least 5 years of experience in administering multi-tenant platforms, with experience in Kubernetes-based architectures.
  • At least 3 years of experience operating Hadoop-based Big Data environments, including technologies such as Apache Hadoop, HDFS, YARN, Hive and Spark.
  • At least 3 years of experience operating ICT platforms, including monitoring, backup and cybersecurity tools, such as CheckMK, Commvault and Sophos.
  • At least 3 years of experience carrying out and implementing automation of operational tasks, using Python and/or Bash, applied to the administration and operation of ICT platforms and services.
  • At least 3 years in the operation and monitoring of Cloudera platforms in production.
  • Availability is required for scheduled on-call shifts and actions outside regular working hours, in accordance with the procedures and needs of the service.

Very occasional on-site presence in Madrid is required (for meetings at the client's office).
