About the role

At Izertis, we are looking to expand our team with the addition of Junior Control Room Operators to be part of one of our most important clients in the technology sector.

What you'll do

What will your duties be?

Monitoring and operation of systems in IT environments.

Management of information transfers and support for operational processes.

Support in the management and tracking of incidents.

Collaboration in the operation of mainframe environments, databases, and software distribution tools.

How you'll work

Where would we like you to be for this vacancy?

The work will be carried out 100% on-site in TRES CANTOS, with rotating 24x7 shifts every 4 weeks (07:00–15:00 / 15:00–23:00 / 23:00–07:00).

The schedule includes short weeks (5 working days + 2 rest days) and long weeks (10 working days + 4 rest days).

What do we look for in you?

- Education:

Intermediate Vocational Training in Microcomputing and Networks or equivalent education.

- Required experience:

No prior experience is necessary. Knowledge in the following will be valued:

z/Series Mainframe systems.

DB2 and Oracle databases and IMS-GSAM emulation.

Information transfer tools (Editran, UCOMMAND, FTP).

Transactional monitors (Tuxedo, application servers).

Software distribution tools (BMC Client Management).
