About the role

At Izertis, we are looking to expand our team with the addition of a Maintenance Technician (N1 Support).

What you'll do

User support, microcomputing, Windows, Office 365, Active Directory, GPOs, printing, inventory, logistics, ServiceNow, Dameware, documentation.

A. User Support

Technicians will be responsible for providing direct user support and assistance:

• Receiving requests through the IT Services Portal.

• Initial diagnosis of incidents.

• Categorizing and redirecting requests.

• Resolving first-level and second-level incidents as applicable.

• Escalating to the appropriate managers or departments.

• Tracking the lifecycle of requests until closure.

• Updating the knowledge base.

• Assisting end users with corporate applications, especially Office 365.

B. Microcomputing and Digital Workplace. Complete tasks on end-user equipment:

• Initial preparation of equipment.

• Unpacking, assembly, connection, and physical testing.

• Installing and uninstalling workstations.

• Configuring computers, laptops, printers, scanners, and peripherals.

• Installing or replacing hardware components.

• Installing operating systems.

• Installing applications.

• Transferring data during equipment replacement.

• Configuring equipment in accordance with security standards.

• Resolving hardware/software incidents remotely and on-site.

• Diagnosing software, operating system, and application issues.

• Preliminary diagnosis and repair of hardware issues.

• Updating operating system and user software versions.

C. Microsoft Windows Systems and Associated Services. Basic operation and administration related to Windows environments:

• Operation and administration of Microsoft Windows systems.

• Administration and maintenance of Windows Server.

• User management in Active Directory.

• GPO management.

• Scripting.

• Report preparation.

• Support for Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive users.

• Print server management.

• File server management.

• Maintenance and monitoring.

• Backup and recovery.

D. Printing Systems.

• Monitoring printers and multifunction devices.

• Proactive incident resolution.

• Managing incidents with external technicians when they cannot be resolved internally.

• Tracking incidents until closure.

• Help Desk support for users regarding printing equipment.

• Managing software tools for the printer fleet, including ServiceNow.

• Managing changes and internal equipment moves.

• Coordinating the installation of new equipment.

• Managing consumables.

• Replacing toner and managing residual toner containers.

• Managing backup equipment.

E. Logistics and Inventory. Hardware, software, and logistics management:

• Receiving materials.

• On-site verification of received materials.

• Labeling equipment.

• Registering assets in inventory.

• Updating hardware and software inventory.

• License management.

• Warehouse management.

• Support for equipment decommissioning and reassignment.

• Identifying the user or administrative unit associated with each asset.

• Managing loans of IT equipment.

• Managing equipment stock.
