Job description
At Izertis, we are looking for a CPD Administrator for one of our public sector clients.
-Monitoring
Tasks for controlling service availability and operability.
Monitoring of processing, capacities, and performance.
-Updating
Tasks for updating technology and functionality, as well as reducing service obsolescence.
-Hardening
Application of required security measures and hardening.
-Vulnerability management
Vulnerability analysis, updating, and application of security measures.
-Incident and request resolution
Reactively, when a problem arises due to any type of failure, work is done on its resolution or mitigation to restore the service.
Proactively, service requests are resolved and configurations are applied to minimize reactive actions.
-Documentation
Tasks for documenting processes, service scopes, service operation, user manuals, policies, etc.
Experience
-Minimum 3 years of experience as a specialist in the operation, administration, and maintenance of CPDs:
•CPD planning (distribution of racks, servers, cabling, etc.)
•CPD monitoring (DCIM)
•Data cabling
•Server racking
•Assembly of servers, consoles (iRMC, BMC, etc.), etc.
-Physical server technology: minimum 4 years of experience as a specialist in the operation, administration, and maintenance of servers.
•Firmware, console, and UEFI updates/upgrades
•Installation and configuration of Linux operating systems
•Advanced installation and configuration of different distributions (RedHat, Debian, Suse, Ubuntu)
•Advanced networking and disk volume configuration (LVM).
•Installation and configuration of Windows operating systems
•Configuration of disk controllers and RAIDs
•Installation/replacement of components (RAM, faulty disks, etc.)
-Virtual server technology: minimum 4 years of experience as a specialist in the operation, administration, and maintenance of:
•VMWare virtualization platform.
•Scripting for process automation in BASH, PowerShell, and PowerCLI.
•Evolutionary maintenance of platforms, updates and upgrades of all components
•Contingency solutions at both the virtualization and CPD levels. vCenter HA, etc.
-Virtual desktop technology: minimum 4 years of experience as a specialist in the operation, administration, and maintenance of:
•VMWare Horizon virtualization platform.
•Connection servers, UAGs, etc.
•Scripting for process automation in BASH, PowerShell, and PowerCLI.
•Evolutionary maintenance of platforms, updates and upgrades of all components
Contingency solutions at both the virtualization and CPD levels. vCenter HA, etc.
