System Engineer

• University degree or Higher Vocational Training in Computer Network Systems Administration.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Systems Administrator and Active Directory.
• Experience in administering Windows and Linux servers, virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V), and network storage (SAN, NAS).
• Knowledge of backup tools (Veeam, Commvault).
• B2 level of English.

• Experience with monitoring tools (PRTG, Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds) will be valued.
• Knowledge of Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google). MS Entra, Authentication.
• Certifications such as VCP, Microsoft Certified Administrator, ITIL will be valued.

At Lactalis, we are looking for a proactive and experienced System Engineer to join our team.

You will work in the Operations area, ensuring the optimal performance and availability of our servers, storage, and operating systems, providing technical support and ensuring our technology stays up to date and secure.

• Administration of Active Directory (Objects, policies, permissions)
• Management of DNS, DHCP, Print Services, and File Server.
• Administration of servers (physical and virtual).
• Monitoring system and infrastructure performance.
• Planning and executing software and hardware updates.
• Managing backups and ensuring data recovery.
• Providing second-level technical support.
• Documenting configurations and procedures.
• Collaborating with other departments to provide technological solutions.
• Developing and managing scheduled tasks and automations. Scripting in PowerShell, among others.
• Resolving incidents and requests related to Wintel environments.
• Actively participating in national/international projects.
