About the role

We are looking for a Business Developer - EdTech Specialist to join our client's sales team in Lleida and lead business development in the education sector.

Their mission will be to identify, develop and close commercial opportunities related to immersive Extended Reality (XR/VR/AR) solutions applied to training, working with universities, vocational training centres, companies and Public Administrations. What you'll do

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the education sector (universities, vocational training centres, corporate training and Public Administrations).
  • Detect and analyse public tenders related to immersive equipment and solutions for education, coordinating with the tenders team to prepare technical and economic bids.
  • Build and manage a portfolio of clients and strategic partners within the EdTech ecosystem.
  • Manage the commercial pipeline and track opportunities using CRM (Zoho).
  • Prepare customised commercial proposals in collaboration with the Pre-sales and Solutions teams.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and close agreements aligned with hardware, software and services sales targets.
  • Represent the company at national and international trade fairs, conferences and events in the education sector.
  • Collaborate with the international teams in Italy, the United States and the new expansion areas (Germany, Poland and France) to drive transnational business opportunities.
  • Monitor commercial indicators (KPIs), forecasts and results, reporting periodically to the Commercial Director.
  • Contribute to positioning the company as a benchmark in technological innovation applied to education.

What we're looking for

  • Additional training in sales, marketing, business development or project management.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in business development or B2B/B2G sales, preferably in the EdTech, education or technology applied to training sectors.
  • Experience or knowledge of public procurement processes and tenders related to the education sector.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills with institutional stakeholders and purchasing managers.
  • Previous experience selling technological solutions to universities or vocational training centres (desirable)
  • Established network of contacts within the public or private education sector (desirable).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English (C1). Italian is a plus.
  • Technical knowledge highly valued: Understanding of robotic systems, industrial process automation and the humanoid robotics ecosystem (Unitree, Boston Dynamics, Figure, etc.).
  • Availability for national and international travel. Driving licence.
