Tendering & Sales Analyst Trainee

Internship | Trade Excellence

General Objective

Support the Trade Excellence team in the areas of Public Tendering and Sales Analysis, contributing to the preparation, execution, monitoring, and optimization of public procurement processes, commercial agreements, and business analytics.

The trainee will gain exposure to strategic and operational processes that support access to innovative medicines within the Spanish healthcare system, while developing analytical, legal, and business skills in a cross-functional environment.

Main Responsibilities

Public Tendering Support

  • Support the preparation and submission of administrative, technical, and financial documentation required for public tenders.
  • Assist in reviewing tender specifications and identifying the applicable requirements, deadlines, and documentation.
  • Collaborate in the organization, validation, and maintenance of tendering documentation and records.
  • Support the monitoring of tender publications, awards, contractual conditions, and subsequent operational implementation.
  • Contribute to process improvement, standardization, and digitalization initiatives related to Tender Management.

Sales Analysis Support

  • Support the preparation of internal and external sales reports and business performance analyses.
  • Collect, consolidate, structure, and validate sales information from different data sources.
  • Help identify trends, opportunities, deviations, and insights that support business decision-making.
  • Collaborate in the preparation of presentations, dashboards, and executive summaries for internal stakeholders.
  • Support data quality, reporting standardization, and automation initiatives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Market Access, Commercial, Finance, Business Intelligence, Legal, Regulatory, Customer Service, and other relevant internal stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

Technical Skills:

  • Good command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong interest in data management, reporting, and business analysis.
  • Interest in public procurement, tendering, healthcare, and commercial operations.
  • Ability to structure information and communicate findings clearly.
